Utah Horse Expo - Vista Farms Drill Team - March 2008

This was the 2nd year for our drill team and it went very smoothly!  What a challenge to get 34 horses and riders dressed up, trailered and to perform in the small arena.  There were beginner riders (as little as 5 years old) up to more advanced riders that have competed at both Sport Horse and Youth Nationals.

 We opted to split the riders into 3 groups this year:  Teens (performing to 'Let's Get it Started'), Grown-Ups (performing to "Gotta be Stronger"), and Little Bitties (performing to 'Little Bittie').  Last year, 25 riders and horses in the tiny arena were just too much.

Thanks to all the riders and horses for all their hard work and practice, teamwork and for loaning lots of clothes back and forth! 

Thanks to all the parents who provided their Saturdays also, their time, food & lots of help!  We opted not to perform Sat. night, due to the cold, rainy weather, but our riders still had a lot of fun riding Friday night.
