Horse for Sale - Whispering Phoenix - 14 hh, Steel gray, Welsh Pony
gelding, foaled 2005, Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America - Reg. #B-44492
Handsome, sweet innocent boy. Only 3
years old, he is well started under saddle, and recently started over some
cavalletti and low cross bars with some young riders. He is a natural pony
hunter over fences. He loves the jumps, and moves like a dressage horse.
Long strided, smooth, pretty mover, he is an honest, trusting and open
minded fellow. Pretty too!
He is just getting used to clippers,
and still finds them a little intimidating, so we are still working on
that. Everything else he is perfectly settled with. Curious more than
afraid, he has a naturally trusting nature. He is well mannered, well
bred, registered and a very pretty solid shade of gray. He will be a
stunning medium, or perhaps even a large pony when he is done growing. He is only 3 in the pictures, the top taken Oct '08 and
the bottom taken spring of '08. He will
bulk up a lot as he grows.
So, there you go. We know he will be a
top notch contender in pony club and more. So, if you decided to do that,
do him a favor, and make sure your child has a good instructor to keep
this pony going in the direction he is already headed; perfect.
But, keep in mind that he would also
make an exceptional small horse for an adult small in stature that wants a
good trail or show pony, and friend. He has a really endearing
personality.
We will soon put him on some national
sites, as pony club enthusiasts on the west and east coast are always
looking for good jumping prospects like this. At that point, his price
will be going up considerably. This week: $4,000.

14.3+ hh (& still growing), Registered
Half-Arabian, Foaled 2004, Bright Copper Bay Gelding
"Scotty" is very unique. Definitely very cool looking! He is half
paint, but instead of spots, he got these classy high stockings. He
really looks like a purebred Arabian. Fine boned, elegant, and fancy!
He is only 4, thus his experience is limited, but training wise, he is
pretty advanced for his age. He's not quite finished as a show horse, but
he is very broke. That is what we do first around here. Broke first, show
trained second.
Although he has beautiful movement, he will make a really handsome western
pleasure horse. He's handy, too, if you wanted to do some reining on him.
He already has a great stop on him. Does some fair lead changes and nice
rhythmic turn-arounds. He is figuring out collection as I write this.
He is easy to train and loves his people. He doesn't miss a thing, is
bright and fairly high energy, maybe a 3 on a scale of 1-5. But in no way
is he naughty or unmanageable. He's a real sensible guy. He hauls, clips,
shoes and bathes great. He is very trusting, and has no vices. He has not
been mishandled in any way, so he has no reason to be quirky. He can be
timid, but that is due more to his age and experience than anything.
We have not had time to get him out on any trails, but his arena sense is
solid.
His training foundation is honest and true. He will be a great project for
someone that wants to custom build and finish their own horse.
He is extremely athletic, even as a gangly teenage boy. He will bulk up
and get even more impressive as he matures. Arabians grow sometimes into
their 6th year, so we don't know how big he will be. But, we know that
"gorgeous" will be part of his description.
His owner bought him for their daughter; but since then, the mom has
become very ill. Their lives have changed drastically in the last few
months, and the horses are no longer a luxury that they will be able to
enjoy for now.
His price will be negotiable to someone that understands the breed and
deserves a high quality horse with an endearing personality, a trusting
disposition, and a HUGE future due to his potential and ability.

Horse for Sale -
CW Amelia Bey -
14.3 + hh, Blood Bay, Arabian Mare, AHR#538152, Foaled 1997, Sweepstakes
Nominated
This mare is a real find for many
different desires.
Super trained, push-button hunter
pleasure show mare, has great potential as anything you are looking for,
from a western pleasure horse, mountain trail horse, to a sport horse
prospect.
Her pedigree boasts such greats as
Huckleberry Bey, Mag, and Khemosabi. No wonder she is such a big bodied
and strikingly pretty mare. And so gentle, to boot. Flawless manners and a
very quiet disposition.
We are presently using her for lessons
to get her in shape, as she has not been used much for the last few
years...which is exactly why the owner has decided to sell her. He
realizes that because she is so lovely and well trained, it is a waste for
her to be standing around. Someone should be enjoying this mare on a daily
basis.
Lovely on a snaffle bit; very light
mouthed and responsive; naturally round, lengthy mover. Very smooth ride,
too. Professionally trained in nothing but positive manners. She is a
dream to be around. No problems, ever.
Her show record is limited, and, if
you are interested, she is qualified for the UAHC Youth Saddle Program in
2009. She is also a maiden mare and has never had a foal. The owner is
motivated to sell, so she is way under priced.
Come see her, ride her, enjoy her. You
will like her...a lot.

CS Zanda Victiara (Bubbles)-
Lovely 7 year old registered bay Arabian mare; Sweepstakes nominated, AHA#
591744
She is "Bubbles" to us, because she is such a cutie. All the kids love
her. She is well bred, well built, well trained and well loved.
Trained to perfection in Showmanship at Halter, you will not be beat.
She is a gorgeous hunter pleasure mare, but she offers ideas in western
and even reining work. She is a fun trail riding horse, too, and one you
can just hop on and go.
She is good for lessons, both beginner and advanced, and has no vices.
She is a dream to groom, clip, bathe and haul. Thinks nothing of the horse
show environment.
Sacrificing for sale, a good home is a must, and she will be made
affordable to you if you are the right owner.

Dream About It
-
13.3 hands, Blood Bay, Arabian/ Welsh Mare, HAHA#1A322923,
Foaled 1996
Don't consider Dream simply a "pony". Registered 1/2 Arabian, she
is legally a Medium Pony for pony club and jumping.
But she also boasts a very advanced education. She has been shown western
pleasure and equitation, and hunter pleasure and equitation, and is
undefeated in Showmanship at Halter. She has been shown by a 6 year old &
a ten year old girl all of 2008.
She was professionally trained originally and at that time was well
started as a reining prospect. This is an athletic, responsive, well
trained little horse. She has flawless conformation, and would do well in
any event, but excel as a sport pony.
She has no problem carrying reasonably sized adults, and does not mind
doing it. She is also an excellent trail riding pony, and has 2 years of
jumping training. On top of all this, she is very gentle natured and
enjoys children and families.
And we won't get into how absolutely beautiful she is. That goes without
saying.
She has always had excellent and experienced handling, and therefore is
very well mannered and has absolutely no vices.
She truly enjoys everything about being groomed, bathed, clipped
(including her ears...), shod, hauled...whatever you want to do, she
accepts without question.
A small adult that wants a personal friend of their own to enjoy would
absolutely LOVE this mare; I do, and if I was in a different situation, I
would own her. A child in professional instruction or at least with some
skills on well trained horses would be best, so as to be fair to Dream and
not undo all the wonderful work that has been done on this "Pony".
Not your typical horse. But even more, certainly not your typical "pony".
She is lovely in every way. Her nick name? The Dream Pony. She is
definitely that. She is presently in show condition, and will not be for
sale locally for long. We will be placing her on some national websites
soon.

Horse for Sale -
SA Vikings Dark Adonis
- True Black Appaloosa, foaled 2005, Gelding,
Reg #656266, 13.3 hh.
Oh, So Darling!
This horse is an absolute doll !!! "Arrow" is one of my favorite little
guys. He is a registered Appaloosa Horse, but is going to be a medium to
large pony. Right now he is just coming on to 14 hh. He is only 3 years old,
but expresses no plans to get very big.
Well
built, flashy, and so friendly! Perfectly marked with a darling teeny little
star on his forehead, little blanket on his butt, and 2 hind sox, he will
get you lots of attention and admiration wherever you take him. What a
totally neat little guy to have in your family. I am seriously considering
keeping him for myself, because I LOVE to ride small horses.
Just
started under saddle, we will be getting him going well for you before we
allow him to be placed in a new home. He deserves a loving, knowledgeable
family that will enjoy him to the fullest. We will keep you posted on his
training!
If
you buy him now, we will set you up to receive whatever he needs to be your
special horse in the price. Otherwise, as his training proceeds, his price
will go up. We are in no hurry to sell him. As sweet a disposition as he
has, we are even considering keeping him for our youth
programs.

Horse for Sale -
MV Echo Delight

Horse for Sale -
MV Echo Delight - foaled 1998, copper bay mare,
registered Arabian #568535, 14.3+ hh
Delight is such an unusually light and bright shade of bay, she really looks
like a buckskin sometimes. Very pretty color...with dark black points, big
eye and perfect conformation.
Extremely well bred, well built and bodied up mare, she is professionally
trained western and hunter pleasure, and a darling in showmanship at halter.
She has had extensive riding by kids, and is a great lesson horse, does well
at shows, and is qualified for the Utah Arabian Horse Club Youth Saddle
Program in 2009.
Her owners have decided to sell her as their goals for 2009 will be taking
them into national level showing. Two horses to show is too many for one
little girl, so one must go. It has been a very emotional decision for all.
Delight is an extremely athletic and handy little mare. Would be an
excellent horse for anyone looking to show, mountain ride, or even use in a
riding club or 4-H. Very pretty, tidy, well trained little horse. Well
loved, well handled and very experienced. She is also a grand teacher. One
of our favorites to use for lessons.
Her only vice is she takes some time to clip. She has never gotten over
being frightened of the clippers, so you have to have some experience and
patience when you clip her. Most of the time she is fine, but once in a
while, she will panic. It is just one of those things. If you know about it,
you can help her through this. It's not that big a deal if you know about
it.
Pricing her to sell, wanting someone to be able to enjoy this pretty young
mare as much as we have. $4,000

is usually only available for half-leases as we use her for our lesson programs as well.

15.2 hh, Bright Copper Chestnut, Registered Half-Arabian/Saddlebred
HAHR# 1A316871, Foaled 1994
Are you a tall, elegant rider? If not yet, would you like to be?
Simba's owner's life has changed in such a way that it may benefit you.
Her circumstances being what they are, she is being forced to seriously
consider selling her beloved gelding.
Besides being bold and beautiful, he is a big, honest, trusting boy. He
has a genuinely kind soul, is well trained, a hard worker and a great
teacher. If he knows more than you do, he will willingly accept you for
who you are. If you wish to learn more, he will gladly teach you.
He is well trained and shows successfully as a Sport Horse type in Show
Hack, is a gorgeous hunter under saddle, and is well versed in 1st level
and some 2nd level movements, although we have not had the chance to take
him to any dressage shows yet.
He was qualified in the 2008 Sport Horse Nationals to be held in Nampa,
Idaho in September of 2008, in both Sport Horse Under Saddle and Show Hack
in the amateur divisions, but her situation being as it is, she was not
able to enter him.
What more can I say? He is one of my very favorites. He is a truly
wonderful fellow with a lot to generously offer you. He and his present
owner (pictured) have a bond that is a joy to see, and this is difficult
for all involved. We will take the time needed and be awaiting the perfect
person that Simba picks to be his own. We would love to help you learn
him, and take advantage of all he knows.
Some of his tack may be able to go with him. $6,500

LMD Derringer - Blood Bay 14.2+ Registered
Arabian gelding
Foaled 2004 Sweepstakes nominated
Describing a sharp, small and handy little pocket pistol, this little guys
name says it all. The cutest of the cute, "Li'l D" has to be the
friendliest creature on the face of this earth.
He just loves everyone, and is happiest being your pocket pal. He is also
very well started under saddle.
Bred, raised and trained by one of Utah's most respected trainers, he
has a rock solid foundation and a future of gold. Huge potential for a
darling show horse for a person small in stature; hunter, western, even
reining potential.
We have had him out on some trails, and he thoroughly enjoys it. He is
not a spooky horse, and is really into his rider. He loves every day of
his life, and his personality brims with curiosity and enthusiasm for
whatever the day may hold for him.
Clips, bathes, hauls, ties, stands for farrier; really enjoys being
groomed in every way. No vices, because he has no reason for any. He has
been gently and professionally handled from the day he was born. There are
no holes in this one.
Selling...maybe. It really depends on who you are, what your plans are,
and if "Li'l D" loves you as much as we love him. We will be picky. If we

Horse for Sale - Tramps Sugar

Horse for Sale - Tramps Sugar
- 14.2 hh., Buckskin Tobiano Paint Mare, APHA #394,435 Foaled
1997
Tidy, well bred, flashy little mare, built for speed and gorgeous to boot!
Sugar is well broke, smooth and fun to ride with plenty of pop. She is a
high energy horse, very light mouthed and responsive, and fun to ride.
At this time, however, she is not a good choice for a first horse or
beginner, because, although she has had quite a bit of training, she
presently needs a qualified horseman to help her through a human caused
problem. She had some pretty serious abuse over a 2 year period, and will
need someone with some skill to help get her over it. Yet, with all this
that has happened to her, she still is affectionate and loves to be with
people. She especially loves to be groomed.
She is sweet enough, pretty enough, and trained enough to make it worth
this, what has to be, a labor of love. She is a wonderful snaffle bit
horse, but can be timid in a shanked bit. I will be happy to show you how
we have been helping her, and what her quirks are. She's more than worth
your time. We want to place her with someone that will never abuse her
again.

Horse for Sale -
Sultans Cherie Amore (aka Bunny)
- 5 yr old, Bay, Reg. 1/2 Arabian mare, approx. 15 hh
5 year old (in April), approx 15 hands, 3/4 bay Arabian mare. Her
registered name is Sultans Cherie Amore (aka Bunny). Her sire is
Onyx Sultan (black pure bred--passed away; she is one of his last crop)
and her dam is Nijama Misriya (1/2 arabian buckskin).
She is very sweet natured. Her only quirks are that she loves to
"kiss" and will get in your face to give you one and that she has been so
desensitized to humans, that she is not afraid of people and doesn't
sometimes realize she is being disciplined, but just being pushed around.
She is green broke. As of now, she likes to move out, so hunter
looks like the best thing for her, but she has been worked in western.
Probably would be a good horse for YSC with a rider with some experience.
She was shown in halter as a youngster.
She is great for clipping for all aspects...muzzle, pasterns, bridle
path, and ears. You can even play with her ears and she does not
care. Having to sell due to financial issues. Asking $1800.

Lexi has been bred, foaled, raised and loved by one family. A great find
for anyone looking for extreme quality, smoothness and athletic ability.
Plus she is gorgeous, and very good minded. She has always had the best of
care.
Well started under saddle, she had 60 days professional training,
August-October 2007. Very people oriented...Her youth supplies her with a
typical lack of experience out in the world.
We are on the hunt for a quality home for her...someone that can
appreciate the abilities and potential of a smart and athletic horse like
this.
We are not desperate to sell; you must first sell yourself to us. We do
not ride any more. The kids have grown up and moved away. My older horse
passed away, and Lexi is here standing alone all day now. She is
lonely and wasted standing out there.
We want her to have a productive life and be doing something.

Horse for Sale
-
Ruala Rosetta
Ruala, ("Phara") is a 6 year old straight
Egyptian, Blue List, Al Khamsa and Asil mare foaled in 2001.
If this does not mean anything in particular to you, just know that she is
very beautiful, conformationally correct, very athletic and well started
under saddle, and a gorgeous black bay, about 14.3 hands.
If this does mean something to you as someone who is interested in the
true Egyptian bred Arabian horse, read on.
SOME HISTORY ON STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN/BLUE LIST/ ALKHAMSA/ASIL BRED
ARABIANS:
In 1952, Miss Jane Llewellyn Ott began a list of the horses proven in
every line to trace directly to the Bedouin bred horses of the desert.
In 1961, the "Blue Arabian Horse Catalog" was published. This is now
called the "Blue Catalog."
Miss Ott continued this catalog until the early 70's, when she closed her
research. The organization known as Al Khamsa was born to continue her
work.
There are some variations, as Al Khamsa accepts some horses not listed in
the "Blue Catalog". All these horses trace directly, in every line, to
horses from Bedouin Tribes, or to exceptional individuals, such as Abbas
Pasha and Lady Ann Blunt, who only purchased horses from these sources.
The terms, "Blue List" and "Al Khamsa" indicate that this horse is
believed pure by these meticulous organizations. The term Asil, meaning
purebred, is a German based organization with the same goals.
Rou Ketta, Ruala's dam, was a Babson bred mare. And Serhabbas, on the stud
side, came from the Babson farm. In fact, that's how Grove Hill Farm ended
up with Rou Ketta. They saw Rou Ketta when she was barely a weanling and
bought her for $17,000. cash on the spot.
When you check the Straight Egyptian websites,
people have mares priced from $15K-30K. Ruala's sister was sold to
some people in Saudi Arabia.
I will sell her with a breeding to Shahir IASB.
Go to http://www.shahiriasb.com/research.htm for a
little bit of info on him.
I will sell her locally for $8,000 or if I put her on the Egyptian site, I
will be pricing her for $9,500.
I want her to go to a good home with someone that appreciates what she is.
She is not just another Arabian horse.
