"Soup"- Liver Chestnut Tobiano, 15.1 hh, National Show
Horse (1/2 Arabian, 1/2 Saddlebred), gelding. Foaled 2001.
Sweepstakes Nominated. Sired out of 3 time World Pinto Champion
(Halter), Atomic Deluxe.
Lovely, well trained and sweet
natured boy. A competitive hunter and sport horse, he is also a
good showmanship horse and a grand teacher. Soup has also done a bit
of western, but it was a while ago and he would need a refresher
course before showing western.
He is an extremely honest, hard
working horse and is extremely good tempered. Great around all ages,
but would do best with a small adult or with a youth showing 13 and
under. Superman would not make a good trail horse. He does has a
few quirks as he is a rescue horse and is a sensitive soul. No
nasty vices.
His owner, Kat, has done most of
the finish show training on this horse all by herself, including
taking him to Sport Horse Nationals in 2008 and 2010 (and he is
qualified to go in 2012) and competing at Arabian Youth Nationals in
2010. Kat has just literally outgrown Superman; she's 5' 10" and
needs a much bigger horse...it breaks her heart to sell him, but
she's ready to find him a great home.
Superman has tons of wins and
ribbons at local all-breed shows and local class 'A' Arabian shows
in Hunter Pleasure, Sport Horse Under Saddle, Sport Horse Show Hack
and even some costume, showmanship and western classes. Superman
and Kat also received UAHC (Utah Arabian Horse Club) Year End High
Point Award for Hunter Pleasure 13 & under in 2009 & 2010.
He showed at the Arabian Spring
Show in Hunter and Sport Horse and qualified to go to Arabian Sport
Horse Nationals Sept. '12 in Boise. Soup did not show in 2011 due
to finances and an injury. He did have 6 mo. off and the ultrasound
showed a complete recovery and has been completely sound since.

"Sarai" is a 15.1 hand purebred Arabian mare sired by Al Baraki. She
has been shown successfully in hunter pleasure open, amateur and youth
divisions. She has been shown regionally as well as locally.
Sarai is easy to ride, smooth and has a willing attitude. She does have
a little spunk and would be best suited for an intermediate to advanced
rider. While her focus has been mostly hunter pleasure, she does know
showmanship and has the potential to learn western and dressage/sport
horse type disciplines.

Mr. Mayor is a tenured schoolmaster at Vista Farms. He is not
only one of our favorite lesson horses, but he is one of the family.
Before his career as a schoolmaster, Mayor spent many years as a very
well trained and successful show horse in English Pleasure, Hunter
Pleasure and Show Hack. He is a patient, humble and trusting soul
with a pure and honest heart.
He is a solid ride in shows, parades, camping and games. Whatever
you want to do, he will enjoy it right along with you. He just wants

~~~~~ Horses for Lease

Leases are often customized per client,
but general price ranges are:
Full lease: $310 per month,
your days of choice and first right to horse shows.
1/2 lease: $195 per month, three
specified days and specified horse show days.
These generally include use of the horse's/owner's tack, so that your purchases are minimal.
Generally, leased horses may not be removed from Vista Farms,
except for horse shows. The owner may require the leasee to take enough lessons on the
horse you choose to lease to be sure that it's a compatible match.
In other words, leasing a horse is NOT a substitute for lessons with
your Trainer, but you will get 2-5 days of riding a week on top of your
lesson, which is great for those horse crazy kids!
The leasee will typically be
responsible for general maintenance of the horse such as farrier bills
($50-$100 every 2 mo.) and shots and worming ($50 twice a year),
but generally not responsible for major medical for the horse.
Your lease MAY vary. These are
just some typical, average prices and conditions. Every lease is
different and you will want to discuss any concerns with the Trainer and
with the Owner.

Ksahri is a pinto, registered 1/2 Arabian
mare and a barn favorite.
Ksahri is one of our cherished schoolmasters
here at Vista. She is great for beginners and
intermediates, esp. the little kids. One month of lessons is
required to begin leasing Ksahri so we can teach you all her
"buttons" after that lessons are optional.

Black and White Tobiano, 15.1 hh, Reg. 1/2 Arabian, mare. Foaled 2002.
Black and White Tobiano, 15.1 hh, Reg. 1/2 Arabian, mare. Foaled 2002.
Lovely, tall, long legged lady, Dancey is an extremely athletic mover and is
well trained in both english and western disciplines. Excellent and advanced
Dressage training; moves off your leg with honesty and rhythm; great snaffle
bit horse, and has also been shown in finish double and western bridles,
successfully hunter, show hack and western. She is a finished horse.
She is also a delight on trail rides, but has not yet had much exposure to
water crossings. She has been shown in halter and showmanship, as well.
Her owner is a professional trainer, and has had Dancey all of her life;
therefore she has no vices. Loads, hauls, cross and straight ties, clips,
bathes, shoes; happy all the time. She has never been mishandled.
With oodles of presence, plenty of energy and a good work ethic, she is much
more beautiful than these pictures show. Dancey is an honest, hard working
horse and is good tempered. She is competitive in 1/2 Arabian Hunter, Sport
Horse and Open Hunter classes. She also likes to jump.
Although we would prefer Dancey to go to an intermediate or experienced
rider that can appreciate her level of training, she could be a considerable
mount for beginners; but they would need to be beginners with aspirations of
future goals that are willing to dedicate reasonable time to lessons and
educating themselves to get up to Dancey's level of training. Pretty Fam
Dancey knows a lot more than most people.
