Caitlin Dillman started riding horses at the age of 7. When she was 13, she started riding with PRC Training. She officially became an assistant trainer in October 2006, and came to Vista in 2009 to branch out on her own.

Caitlin teaches children as well as adults, from beginners to advanced riders who have moved on to showing at a local, regional, and national level.  She enjoys her lessons, and aims to make them a fun experience, as well as informative. One of her greatest joys is watching her students grow and learn and their riding abilities improve.

This year, 4 of Caitlin's students are new to showing and, with Caitlin's expertise, have done quite well in their first year of showing!

She also trains horses, from yearlings who need basic manners and babies ready to go under saddle, to preparing and maintaining top level show horses. She does all different types of training, including natural horsemanship, showmanship, hunter, and western. She loves to learn and is constantly reading about, watching, and spending time with top level trainers to become a better trainer herself.

Caitlin currently owns 2 horses. "Miranda", who she has had since she was 15, and "Sarai," who she bought as a young, unhandled horse and started under saddle.  Sarai had her first show in September 2009, and won every class she took her in. She recently took her to Region 8 in 2010. Miranda is one of Caitlin's lesson horses, and is currently being leased by an adorable little girl who shows her and does very well.

Caitlin enjoys working with the horses and people at Vista Farms, and hopes to spend many years doing what she loves.
